In partnership with Degani and Northern Health, the Foundation called on staff nominations to take part in the 2012 Arthurs Seat Bay2Bay Ride on Sunday 29 April, 2012. With 65km or 130km options, the ride will see cyclists ascend to the top of scenic Arthur’s Seat on closed roads. Though the ride will be challenging, event ambassadors, Robbie McEwen and Phil Liggett, believe it’s one of the best rides on offer for recreational riders. All riders competing in the 65km and 130km categories will be electronically timed as they climb Arthur’s Seat.
Riders will be well supported throughout the event with mobile mechanical support, aid stations stocked with food and drink, plus first aid. The event promises a festival atmosphere at the start/finish point in Mornington Park, with food stalls, live music and activities for the kids. With the Northern Health Foundation Dream Team now finalised this is a great opportunity to support your colleagues and help us raise funds for the Northern Health Foundation.
