Keeping busy for Bundoora Centre

For more than 50 years, the Busy Fingers Auxiliary has been finding creative ways to support patients and aged care services at Bundoora Centre.

Their latest contribution is a new bladder scanner worth $17,701. What began with a group of determined women has grown into an extraordinary fundraising legacy.

Since the Busy Fingers Gift Shop opened in 1993, the Auxiliary has continued to raise funds for vital equipment through the shop and other activities.

Their latest contribution is a new bladder scanner that allows clinical staff to quickly and painlessly measure the amount of urine in a patient’s bladder, helping them make important treatment decisions.
